Owls

Before Christmas I worked on a set of 3 canvases for a friends daughters bedroom,

Her favourite theme for everything at the moment, is owls! 

So meet the owl family that I have created for her!

(Apparently she was one very happy customer indeed, 

which makes it all the more special for me!)

These canvases, as with all my canvas work are actually painted using household 

tester pots, which I mix and apply as I would any other paint! 

And unlike my usual illustration work, 

here I apply my "Inky Stick," at the very end, rather than first thing!

This is how she has displayed them as a set. 

Little Tiger Press Gift Books

So thrilled to see the release of my books with Little Tiger Press to start the 

New Year!

A set of 6 gift books, beautifully written by Josephine Collins, with warm, uplifting messages, 

and illustrated by myself, with 144 illustrations of mine in total  : )

Here are 4 of the artworks from the first book that I worked on for them,

Each book has a unique style of cover with a padded fabric icon, and work very well as a set.

Beach huts and bunting

I have been working on a piece of art for some friends

 who have recently moved to a new home by the sea.

And for me, any excuse to paint beach huts. . . 

or seagulls, is good enough for me!

and Im rather cuffed with this piece, and so were my friends!
